Open House Festival: Visit City Hall
Visit the headquarters of the Mayor of London and London Assembly located in the Royal Docks, Newham. City Hall is open on 9th and 10th
September from 10.00 – 16.00. No tickets are needed, entrance is on a first come, first served basis.
City Hall is a Dementia Friendly Venue
Culture is central to our city and the Dementia Friendly Venues Charter aims to make it accessible to all.
The Mayor of London has launched the world’s first Dementia Friendly Venues Charter for cultural public spaces in a drive to ensure that every Londoner with dementia and their carers has a dementia-friendly cultural venue on their doorstep.
City Hall will open an hour early, with reduced capacity, from 09:00 – 10:00am on Saturday 9th September. This will be a dedicated session for those living with dementia. For information on this session please contact reception.cityhall@london.gov.uk.
