UEL Summer Festival

The University of East London is hosting its Royal Docks Innovation & Enterprise Summer Festival on Wednesday 3 June (11am-7pm) at its Docklands campus (Docklands Campus, University of East London, University Way, London E16 2RD).

Set against the Royal Docks, this free, large-scale festival brings together performance, innovation and hands-on experiences – offering a vibrant day out for families, students and the local community.

What to do

  • Watch aerialists and live performance acts across the waterfront
  • Explore interactive exhibits showcasing student innovation and research

Get involved in hands-on workshops including: aromatherapy, perfume and wellbeing sessions, chocolate decorating and cocktail/mocktail masterclasses and craft activities like macramé, wreath-making and mini tufting-Take part in “Conquer the Docklands” – a fun challenge combining rowing, mental agility and sports-Visit the UCAS Fair and connect with advisors-Discover the Stratford redevelopment exhibition and future plans for east London-Drop into the AI and sustainability conference-Enjoy street food, music and outdoor spaces across the campus-Part of UEL’s Year of Health, the festival celebrates wellbeing, creativity and community through a mix of culture, innovation and participation.

The event is free to attend, with some optional activities (£3-£5) supporting student and community sports facilities.
