As part of our commitment to deliver opportunities for local organisations, individuals and the community to play a vital role in regenerating the Royal Docks, we are launching several funding opportunities over the next five years. Some of our current opportunities are listed below.
The Royal Docks Good Growth Fund launched on 22 July 2020 and is now open to the public, private and third-sector organisations including local groups and charities which work closely with the local community. This includes creating workspaces, building skills, enhancing public spaces, and more. Modelled on the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan’s successful £70 million Good Growth Fund – which was launched in 2017 – the Royal Docks Good Growth Fund is targeted to the specific needs of the area and will help local organisations deliver projects to make the area a more attractive place to live, work, visit and invest. Join the Docks is also back and a call for applications for projects to be included in the ‘Join the Docks Autumn Programme’ is now open. Priority will be given to Royal Docks and Newham based organisations, or those connected to the Royal Docks. Funding is available to support the creation and presentation of a range of creative and cultural projects to be part of Join the Docks Autumn Programme and for research and development projects to be presented early next year. Activities large and small will be considered. Join the Docks champions the Royal Docks unique cultural offer, demonstrating its vibrant diversity, its history, its people, and its identity as a place of opportunity, ideas and innovation.
