The Holiday, with bauble-painting workshop
“I think what I've got is something slightly resembling... GUMPTION!”
A Christmas film that’s half set in sunny Hollywood? Somehow it works. The Holiday features an all-star cast, including Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz, doing their very best to avoid love at Christmas. Of course, fate has other ideas and romance ensues, even on the other side of the world.
Setting you up with hot chocolate, gingerbread, mulled wine, and mistletoe, we will all gather together to watch one of the best Christmas films in the Silver Building’s cosy bar area. And to get you overflowing with Christmas spirit, Floating Concrete, one of the venue’s creative businesses, will be leading a bauble-painting workshop. Suitable for all ages.
Presented by the Royal Docks in partnership with The Silver Building.
Our winter festival of film and fun, Dock the Halls is bringing festive cheer to places across the Royal Docks this November and December. In collaboration with our wonderful venues and partners, we’re presenting films, festive arts and crafts, and music to get you in the Christmas spirit. Join us for your favourite films or settle in for the workshops and bands.
