Tate Time Capsule

Tate Time Capsule

Join the unveiling of the Tate Time Capsule mural, celebrated in a family-friendly event. Enjoy music, art workshops, and an exhibition as the vibrant artwork is revealed to the community.
The event marks the inaugural introduction of the REinsTate project, which has recently secured the tender for the Tate Institute. It serves as the Tate Institute's debut in acquainting themselves with the community and laying the groundwork for its reopening and reintegration, embraced warmly by the community.

Constructed in 1887, the locally listed building served as a community facility for sugar factory workers and their families. Its significance lies in being a recognisable community hub that has been cherished and enjoyed by locals throughout the years.
ReSpace envisions an exciting project that engages local communities at the grassroots level, aiming to serve as the initial stepping stone for young creators, budding entrepreneurs, or anyone seeking to pursue meaningful activities.
