Poplar Regatta
Poplar Blackwall & District Rowing Club (PBDRC) is thrilled to announce the return of the highly anticipated Poplar Regatta. Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 19th, 2024, as this exciting event splashes back into action at the London Regatta Centre in the Royal Docks.
Poplar Regatta offers a fantastic opportunity for rowers of all levels to compete on the stunning Royal Albert Dock. This year’s event boasts thrilling 6-lane, side-by-side racing over a challenging yet rewarding 2,000-metre course.
Racing commences at 09:00 and finishes at 18:00 with 80 races scheduled at 6-minute intervals throughout the day. Around 2,000 competitors and spectators are expected to attend the event, which is one of the largest multi-lane regattas in the UK.
