FeastFest - Making Arts Delicious: Sonic Phở

FeastFest highlights the versatility of arts, offering different approaches to how we interact with food. FeastFest is dedicated to those who love arts, food and life!

Coming event: Sonic Phở

Come visit our temporary café to celebrate the Vietnamese national dish, Phở! You will be taken through a live demonstration, showcasing what goes into making this beloved staple of Vietnamese cuisine, before being guided to enjoy a tasty bowl of Phở supplied by a local partnering supplier. Whilst eating, listen to an accompanying audio story by Anna Nguyen and award-winning sound designer Nicola T. Chang.

Phở is a popular noodle soup dish from Vietnam and a firm favourite in Vietnamese restaurants across the world.

For the best experience, bring your phone and compatible headphones to our demonstration, or listen at home while eating Phở to enjoy a multisensory meal.

Sonic Pho was created by New Earth Theatre in association with the Museum of the Home, originally commissioned by the Albany for We Are Lewisham, London Borough of Culture 2022.

Supported by The Royal Docks Team – Create Your Docks fund brings local communities together across the Royal Docks and aims to activate the area, celebrate its diversity and encourage communities to get actively involved in the area’s regeneration.
