Ensemble Festival: You & Me (by Amina Khayyam Dance Company)
You&Me is a short, high energetic dance piece choreographed by Amina Khayyam Dance Company, exploring a same-sex relationship from a South Asian feminist perspective. It brings the spectacle and intensity of Kathak with the physicality of contemporary dance and features a live music score performed by internationally acclaimed musicians – Debasish Mukherjee (table), Jonathan Mayer (sitar), and Ian McHugh (cello).
Ensemble Festival 2023 is part of At the Docks 2023 – a brand-new summer season of arts, culture, and events at the Royal Docks.
