Husk Brewery & Tap Room
Right by Canning Town station, Husk Brewery & Tap Room is an independent, family-run microbrewery serving its own craft beers alongside a crowd-pleasing menu of burgers, hot dogs and loaded fries.
The vegan bhaji burger is a popular choice, a crispy cauliflower and onion bhaji fried in Husk Pale Ale batter, topped with mango ketchup and a fresh coriander and mint yoghurt-style sauce.
They’ll be showing selected World Cup matches too, making it a great spot to catch the game without straying far from a tube station.
Fox Connaught

Set within a striking Grade II listed converted tobacco warehouse, this impressive 1,200-capacity venue blends historic character with a modern gastropub feel.
With its spacious layout, lively atmosphere and outdoor seating, it’s a great choice for bigger groups. There are also regular food and drink offers across the sister venues.

The Windjammer
Another great option is The Windjammer at Royal Wharf, offering a contemporary riverside setting. It’s an ideal spot to watch a match, enjoy food and drink, with outdoor seating that’s perfect for a half-time break.
There’s plenty to choose from on the menu, and if England progress through the tournament, they’re planning extended opening hours. Come on England!
Stay for the full whistle
With excellent transport links, the Royal Docks is a convenient and accessible place to enjoy the World Cup without worrying about how you’ll get home. The area is well served by the DLR and Superloop buses and when you use pay as you go on buses at the adult rate, the new weekend Hopper fare lets you make unlimited journeys within one hour of touching in for just £1.75. Custom House on the Elizabeth line also offers fast connections across London.
If the game runs late, the Jubilee line Night Tube from Canning Town makes it easy to get home after the final whistle so you can enjoy every moment of the action.
