This weekend At the Docks

At the Docks is back. Experience a summer of open-air culture, live music, world-class sport and family adventure, with more than 100 events taking place across the Royal Docks from June to September. Explore the At the Docks season.

It’s also the start of London Festival of Architecture 2026 (LFA), with Royal Victoria as a featured neighbourhood exploring this year’s theme of belonging through a series of free events. Find out more about LFA.

A tour of Iron Works

Connecting to Culture: Iron Works Tour

Saturday 6 June, 12 – 1pm, free

The Iron Works Tour offers a rare look inside this former metalworks on the Thames, now being reimagined by Projekt as a new cultural and workspace destination. Visitors can explore striking river views and previously inaccessible warehouse and outdoor areas as the site begins its next chapter. Book your free place on the Iron Works Tour.

We Flow: Royal Victoria Art Trail

Saturday 6 June, tours 11am & 2pm, free

The Youth Guided tours introduce key artworks along The Line, exploring how art, place and community shape experiences of belonging. From bold colour and local nature to themes of vulnerability, migration and visibility, each stop offers a different perspective in a 40‑minute walk. Buzzapalooza: Community Events & Parade

Saturday 6 June, 10:30am - 3:30pm, free

East End Road Runners

Royal Docks Run: 5K with East End Road Runners

Sunday 7 June, 8:15am meet (for an 8:30am start), free

The Royal Docks Run is a friendly 5K led by East End Road Runners, taking you past iconic landmarks including City Hall, Excel London, Millennium Mills, the London Cable Car and the Grade II‑listed cranes. With three supportive pace groups (the slowest completing 5K in around 38 minutes), runners meet outside the Good Hotel at 8:15am for an 8:30am start, booking essential. Call for proposals: Summer Splash activities

We are looking for local creatives and organisations to run workshops, sports sessions or performances as part of Summer Splash 2026. Submit your proposal by 28 June.
