People Powered Places: Don’t miss the Big Vote!

The Royal Docks Team is excited to partner once again with Newham Council to support People Powered Places (2025–2027), contributing an additional £80,000 to support projects in Beckton & Royal Docks and Custom House & Canning Town community neighbourhoods.

The current cycle has got off to an incredible start, with 130 project ideas submitted across the Royal Docks’ neighbourhoods alone. These proposals reflect the energy, diversity and creativity of our communities, covering everything from sports coaching, mentoring, arts and creative workshops to community gardening, mental health initiatives and sustainability projects – and much more in between!

There’s something for every interest and ambition and now it’s time to choose the ones that matter most to you.
