Lyle’s Local Fund 2026/27
Funded by Tate & Lyle Sugars and delivered in partnership with Newham Council, the fund provides grants of up to £5,000 to deliver community-led projects that benefit Newham residents. A total of £50,000 is available in this funding round.
Key information
- Applications open: Tuesday 22 September 2026 at 11:00am
- Application deadline: Sunday 25 October 2026 at 11.00pm
- Open to charities, community organisations, schools, faith groups, social enterprises, CICs and other not-for-profit and informal groups
- Projects should align with one of six themes: Children and Young People, Health and Wellbeing, Community Safety and Security, Communities and Neighbourhoods, Environment and Climate, or Money, Financial Stability and Tackling Hardship
Applicant support – Free Grant Surgeries
We strongly encourage organisations to attend one of our free Grant Surgery sessions to learn more about the fund, check eligibility, strengthen project ideas and improve their application.
- Online Grant Surgery: Tuesday 29 September 2026, 6.00pm to 7.30pm
- In-person Grant Surgery: Wednesday 7 October 2026, 2.00pm to 4.00pm
