Join the Royal Docks Board: Youth-focused role

We are looking for a new board member to represent the views of local young people. You will bring your passion and insight to support and shape the next stage of the Royal Docks regeneration.

You will be supported by the Royal Docks Team, other Board members and your mentor. We want someone who is willing to learn and develop an understanding of the issues and opportunities unique to this area of London and our delivery plan.

This is an opportunity to develop your skills and expand your professional networks.

Profile of successful candidates

We are looking to appoint someone with knowledge and interest in one or more of the following themes:

  • skills, jobs and business
  • nightlife, retail, shops and cafes
  • creating better facilities for communities (green space, sports, community centres)
  • environmental sustainability
  • culture, arts and events
  • marketing and communications
  • community engagement and inclusion '
