Creative Connectors aims to be representative of local creativity in all forms - from music and food to art and nature and everything in between.
We believe everyone can be creative and want to ensure that our creative programmes are inclusive of all people in the Royal Docks.
By joining, you will connect with like-minded individuals and help us shape the future direction of cultural programming.
No artistic experience required - just your enthusiasm and ideas!
The Royal Docks has a bold ambition to be London’s cultural engine; a creation centre rooted in the people and places of the Royal Docks. We aim to achieve this together by engaging all our communities and by nurturing local creativity.

Who can join?
Creative Connectors is open to everyone over the age of 16 years. You must live, work or study in the Royal Docks.
What’s involved in being a Creative Connector?
There are different ways to be involved. We ask that you attend at least one of our Creative Open Space meetups! We'd love you to help spread the word about what’s going on in the area to your friends, family, and colleagues.
You do not need to have any arts or events experience or qualifications. All we ask for is enthusiasm and an open mind!
- Participate in our Creative Open Space meetups (twice a year) - anyone can suggest topics to discuss alongside the Royal Docks Team.
- Receive a monthly newsletter with all the opportunities and events coming up.
- Exclusive invitations to special events and activities.
- Access to free and discounted tickets in our programme.
- Paid and volunteering opportunities in the Royal Docks Team’s cultural programme and biennial festival.
- Opportunities for free training, workshops, and trips for research.

FAQs
Q: Can I join if I am part of another Royal Docks network or group?
A: Yes.
If you are a creative professional, or working as part of a creative organisation, the Creative Partners Network may be better suited. However, this does not mean that you can’t join the Creative Connectors too.
Q: When did the Creative Connectors start?
A: Creative Connectors started in 2021, and this year in 2026 we are reengaging with new and existing Creative Connectors who live, work or study in the Royal Docks.
