At the Docks Returns for 2026

At the Docks returns to celebrate summer with a packed programme of culture, sport and family-friendly activities running from June to September.

Now in its fourth year, At the Docks brings together over 70 events and 300 activities from across the Royal Docks into a vibrant summer programme where land and water meet - offering something for everyone to enjoy.

If you’re looking to get in the water, we've got you covered with Royal Docks Summer Splash, a free outdoor lido next to City Hall, open from Friday 25 July to Sunday 17 August. With sand pits, deckchairs, daily family activities plus Swim Safe water sessions, it’s the perfect place to relax, play and cool off—all completely free.

For those after something more active, try wakeboarding or paddleboarding with WakeUp Docklands, or experience open water swimming in this unique setting. Strong swimmers maybe want to sign up for the Dock to Dock swim, an exciting open water challenge across the Royal Docks designed for confident participants. And you can finish off at Sweheat Sauna just beside the lido (open all year round).

The summer of sport continues with major events including Formula E, the T100 Triathlon, SuperBall World Open and the London Dragon Boat Festival. There will also be plenty of places to soak up the atmosphere and watch the World Cup unfold.

There's just as much to explore on dry land. Royal Victoria hosts the London Festival of Architecture throughout June, with a free programme of talks, tours and activities. July brings live outdoor arts and theatre at Certain Black’s Ensemble Festival and a large-scale electronic music series at Silverworks Island.

Check out our growing public artwork collection from epic mural Blue Sunset by Graphic Rewilding to a series of works presented by The Line including Bird Boy by Laura Ford, In Between by Helene Amouzou and Types of Happiness by Yinka Ilori.

Let us entertain you with Cleopatra at Immerse LDN—London’s newest immersive entertainment district, The Cause nightclub's birthday party and celebrations at the famous Brick Lane Music Hall.

Finally, you can cap off your day with a drink or snack on one of the dockside bars or restaurants and a trip on London's only cable car!

The Royal Docks is London’s living waterfront. Dive in and be part of it this summer.
