YoungMinds Community Garden Opening
Everyone is welcome to attend the official opening of the YoungMinds Garden on Saturday 11 July at 10.30am at 65 Fords Park Road, E16 1NP (entrance via Plymouth Road).
The free event celebrates the garden’s journey from the Chelsea Flower Show 2026 to its new permanent home as the Fords Park Road Community Garden in Newham. Created through collaboration between local organisations, young people and community partners, the garden has been designed as a space for the whole community to enjoy.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the garden, meet the people behind the project and hear how local organisations, young people and community partners helped bring the space back to life. The event will also highlight future plans for the garden and opportunities for community involvement.
The programme includes:
- 10.30am – Garden tours
- 11.30am – Speeches
- 12.30pm – Refreshments
