This Forum meeting will focus on Royal Victoria and Silvertown. We will be joined by local organisations and developers working on different projects in the area.
Join us to learn about exciting changes happening and what this means for communities. It’s a great opportunity to share your views and network with other local groups and residents.
The session will include a series of short presentations about the projects listed below, followed by a series of smaller breakout discussions and networking activities, facilitated directly by the Royal Docks Team and delivery partners.
Join us so you can...
- Hear more about Royal Docks Team priorities and local area updates
- Discuss proposals for transforming ‘Royal Victoria Dock West’ into a floating destination and community, presented by the Royal Docks Team on behalf of Royal Docks Waterways. A series of public engagement events are ongoing, and we will share next steps and timings.
- Meet Tipping Point East (TPE), the team behind a new Circular Economy Village operating from a 20,000 sqm industrial site in Silvertown. TPE is co-led by Yes Make, RESOLVE Collective and Material Cultures and brings a clear vision for supporting a just transition in the built environment sector through low-carbon construction, material reuse, and cultural activity.
- Explore plans for new spaces in Silvertown, including Lendlease’s work to deliver a new pedestrian and cycle bridge linking Silvertown, Royal Victoria and Custom House.
- Hear from Arada, the new 'master-developer' for Thameside West, which will deliver at least 5,000 homes, with half of the 47-acre site dedicated to green space and a kilometre of active waterfront.
- Connect with the Royal Docks Arts, Culture & Heritage programme, including the new public art commission for the entrance to Thames Barrier Park; our summer plans for Royal Victoria; details about our new neighbourhood ‘Connector Hubs’ ; and how to get involved in Royal Docks Originals 2027 festival.
Please note: any changes to the schedule and topics of discussion will be shared with all registered attendees by email.
