Unfamiliar to Us Workshop

Video installation Unfamiliar to Us by Yorgos Petrou and Victor Esses uses their personal life as inspiration. Now the pair are organising a workshop for early-career artists and curious adults who are also interested in making autobiographical work.

It doesn’t matter what art form you work in, whether it’s writing, performance, visual arts, or something else. Theatre-maker Esses and visual artist Petrou will provide an open environment to explore ideas and create a support network that continues after the workshop. They will share their process with the group and be available for follow-ups for a few months afterwards.

Only open to early-career artists, to apply all you have to do is fill out this form, explaining why you want to join the workshop.
