The Royal Wharf Summer Fete

On Saturday 16th September, Royal Wharf Park will once again come to life with feel-good summer festival vibes for our local riverside community between 10AM – 6PM.

Situated close to Pontoon Dock station on the DLR, or Uber Boat by Thames Clipper via the Royal Wharf Pier, the all-day fete is the perfect fun day out for all the family, featuring jumbo garden games, face painters, balloon modellers, magic and much more!

A range of gastronomic food and beverage vendors will be serving mouth-watering bites to eat and drink by the riverside.

The fete will also showcase a wealth of locally based talent, including a creative arts and crafts market along the waterfront, where resident artists and small business owners will display and sell their unique offerings. Throughout the day there will be live music performances, fitness activities and entertainment for all the family.

The Summer Fete provides the perfect opportunity to experience life at Royal Wharf!

As a reminder, from 10am to 6pm, Royal Wharf Park will come to live with a family fun-day including:

• 10am to 11am Outdoor Fitness Class with One Element Docklands (Thames Barrier Park) – a few tickets remaining, be quick!
• 10am to 11am Alfresco Yoga – a few tickets remaining, be quick!
• 10.30am to 4.45pm Children’s Games and Learning Sessions with Macaroni Penguin
• 3.30pm to 4pm Hip Hop Beavers performance - Free or charge.
• 11am to 1pm Family Entertainment with Sharky and George

There will also be live music and entertainment, featuring musician Blake Sonnet, beat poetry artist Julian Alexander, and Charlene the Hoola Queen. Enjoy a selection of international food pop ups, including Calimari Kitchen, Chick’n Sours and pizza from 450 Degrees, whilst browsing a marketplace showcasing jewellery, candles, clothing, sweet treats, plus face painting and more.
