Royal Docks Centre for Sustainability Discovery Day is an open day with something for everyone!

Come and hear how this centre of innovation, skills and enterprise works to support a sustainable future for local businesses, students and residents.

Schools

From 10am – 12pm, school groups will be invited to join guided tours of the building and take part in workshops exploring innovation and sustainability.

Local businesses

Grow London is hosting a coffee morning from 10-12pm for creative entrepreneurs based in the Royal Docks and beyond, who may be looking to meet like-minded founders. Come and engage in friendly conversations, share knowledge, and enjoy great coffee (and pastries) with local entrepreneurs and small business owners!

Save The Ocean: A Fun Palaces event: 3-6pm

Beckton Library, Royal Docks Originals, and Royal Docks Centre for Sustainability present Save the Ocean: a Fun Palace event within the national Full Palaces Movement.

Between 3 and 5 October, community groups across the country will be coming together to share skills, passions and interests, and to show the world just how brilliant and packed full of genius their community is!

Save the Ocean is a local response to Climate Action through arts & crafts, interactive storytelling with Discover Children’s Story Centre, fun activities and information sharing.

And dive into the pioneering resources of the Centre for Sustainability....

  • Step into tomorrow with VR exploring climate futures
  • Get hands-on with the building materials of tomorrow
  • Create and connect through climate positive crafts

Light refreshments will be provided.
