Join friends, family, and the local community at the Royal Albert Wharf Winter Market.

In partnership with Bow Arts, the market at Pump House Square will feature festive stalls from craftspeople, artists and University of East London students, along with theatrical midwinter tales and performances by the vibrant community choir, Stratford East Singers.

Shop unique crafted gifts, enjoy street food, and soak up the festive waterfront atmosphere at one of London’s emerging cultural hubs. Visitors can also wander among bright, festive lanterns lighting up the docks, each one handmade at the free Community Lantern Making Workshops led by multidisciplinary artist, Yuliya V Krylova.

Also storyteller, Oliver Wallace of Patchlarks with be sharing wild midwinter tales featuring hilarious characters, fantastic adventures, and kind magic in his suitcase theatre. Storytelling performance times:

• 3 – 3:45 pm

Festive treats and hot drinks will also be available to buy at the Well Bean Co, with contemporary Indian cuisine on sale at Café Spice Namasté.
