Compressor House Warming: River of Hope

A showcase of film and art inspired by reflections of the river

Be amazed by River of Hope, a magnificent project showcasing artwork and poetry by young people from five Newham secondary schools, inspired by their reflections of the river.

Artist Shona Watt and poet Dauda Ladejobi worked with students to create visual art and spoken word expressing their concerns about the climate crisis through creativity.

The exhibition includes a short film by Fotis Begklis, documenting their journey, along with a selection of the fabulous artwork.

River of Hope is a Thames Festival Trust project supported by Arts Council England, Paul Hamlyn Foundation, Port of London Authority, Platinum Jubilee Pageant and British Council.
