River Habitat Restoration Day
Autumn is officially upon us which means that we can begin restoration work in our next door reedbed. 🍂
Come on down on the 2nd of November to get outside, make new friends and get hands on experience in a wetland habitat mangement project along the River Lea.
What we’ll be up to:
- Clearing terrestrial vegetation 🌱
- Marking out and digging channels to allow more water to be retained in the area
- Constructing the frame for a kingfisher bank facing the river 👑
We’ll set up a rest area with a campfire so we can be out there rain or shine!
