Across Newham and the Royal Docks there’s loads of fun and interesting things for you to do with your friends and family; including stuff that you can experience and learn from. As you flick through the pages of this Summer 2023 brochure; you’ll see there’s a whole bunch of summer fun activities and stuff for everyone!

This Summer, Newham has everything from pony riding to street tag, go-karting to mini yoga. Our libraries, Youth Zones, parks, community and activity centres will be open to provide you and your mates a brilliant range of activities, alongside delicious snacks and meals for youngsters eligible. Summer Break Activities

BV Summer Scheme

New Young Voice Collective (NewYVC)

NewYVC is a free, non-auditioned, friendly youth choir, singing everything from African folk music, to Bach and Mozart, to pop classics. We rehearse every Tuesday in term time at Stratford Youth Zone, with the full choir from 4.30pm-6.30pm. The choir is led by the wonderful Naveen Arles, and assisted by Steve Lodder on piano. You’ll learn lots of new music, meet new people and have the chance to perform throughout the year in exciting venues and special events. FREE - fruit snacks and squash also provided free during break.

SOUL summer multi-sports session will be for 4 hours per day, and running Monday – Thursday throughout the upcoming summer holiday. These will be structured to morning and afternoon sessions, with the sessions split with enrichment activities and team games, as well as competitive sports games and coaching with lunch being in between.

At Omega Sportz, we pride ourselves in creating a safe space for children to be the best version of themselves. This Summer we are offering a wide range of activities including ball sports: science experiments; bouncy castle; gymnastics; dance workshop; multi sports and games; arts and crafts; and a summer party. These activities are spread across the summer with different activities daily. Please bear in mind activities are subject to change and these above are just examples.
