Look, Learn, Make: Papier-mâché Picasso

Join artist Katrina Cowling for a creative two-part workshop inspired by Picasso’s playful ceramic vessels. Combining hands-on making with art history, you'll design and paint your own papier-mâché vase, plate, jug, plant pot, coaster or sculptural object while exploring mark-making, colour and gesture.

Drawing inspiration from artists including Picasso, Grayson Perry, Lindsey Mendick and Donald Locke, the sessions will also explore the stories, histories and cultural influences behind ceramics and contemporary art.
