London Sauna Week - Sauna for beginners

This intimate event combines a thought-provoking talk with an immersive sauna experience, inviting you to discover why millions of Europeans sauna the way they do. Together we'll unpack the history and etiquette of communal sauna, including why nudity has long been considered the most hygienic, practical and comfortable way to experience heat, and the surprising psychological benefits of leaving body image at the door.

Rather than a formal lecture, the evening is designed as a relaxed conversation led by Victoria Maddox and guest speaker, Yahya El-Droubie and author of Sauna for Beginners: A Pocket Guide. There will be plenty of opportunities for questions, discussion and shared experiences.

Your ticket includes:

  • A 15–20 minute interactive talk on authentic sauna culture
  • Guided discussion and Q&A
  • An authentic communal sauna experience
  • Time to connect with fellow sauna enthusiasts
  • A complimentary copy of Sauna for Beginners: A Pocket Guide

Whether you're completely new to sauna or curious about the growing outdoor wellness movement in the UK, this is a welcoming space to learn, experience and reconnect with one of Europe's oldest wellbeing traditions.
