Jessie Keane in Conversation

Hosted by Newham Libraries, Jessie Keane in conversation coincides with Jessie's latest novel , Never Go Back, published February 2023. Jessie is celebrating fifteen years since her explosive novel, Dirty Game, introduced the Carter family to the world.

An instant bestseller, the story was inspired by Jessie's teenage years in Soho, and was written while living in a cold council flat. Jessie had pursued her writing dream long after well-meaning people told her to get a proper job because her Grand - who had 'the sight' - had foreseen a writing future after reading her palm at the tender age of three. She told her that she'd not only write but she'd be 'famous' for it. 6.5 million copies later, with each of her books reaching the Sunday Times, Top Ten, her prediction has certainly come true.

Warm, funny and chatty, Jessie is an inspiring speaker, and is excited to celebrate this incredible milestone with her readers.

This event is a virtual event, registration is by Eventbrite and participants will receive the link prior to the event. Jessie's latest novel Never Go Back will be available to buy from Newham Bookshop and to borrow from Newham Libraries.
