Hacky Racers: Race Day
Join CoCreate+ for the Race Day of Hacky Racers, the final event of a high-energy, hands-on hackathon that fuses puppetry, animatronics, robotics and racing!
Come and see semi-autonomous RC rovers designed by young innovators aged 12–18, and cheer your favourite on to the finish line.
On Race Day teams will test their creations in front of a live audience and compete for prizes in three categories:
- RC Race Winner – fastest car on the track
- Semi-Autonomous Race Winner – smartest self-navigating rover
- Best in Show – most creative or beautifully designed project
Hacky Racers is a project by CoCreate+ commissioned by Culture Within Newham, with support from University of the Arts London (UAL) and London Design & Engineering UTC.
