Full Moon Somatic Gong Experience. Full Moon Somatic Gong Experience.
Join Will Datheart and Victoria Maddox in this three hour Sauna x Soma experience dedicated to going within, exploring embodiment and releasing any blocks through sweat, steam and sound.
Victoria has been a qualified Sound therapist and Energy Healer for over ten years. Her love of health and wellbeing led her into grassroots sauna culture, and she created Sweheat Sauna to deliver on her deeply held commitment to community and healing. “Every soul needs sauna”
Will is a Somatic Coach and Kundalini Activation Practitioner, with extensive Bodywork experience. His multi-disciplinary approach to embodied states is informed as much by his corporate life as his spiritual one. “The body keeps the score; the brain has lost count’.
The evening is split into six distinct phases including Ritual, Soma, Sound Healing and Cacao.
We begin with simple ritual, visualization and breath to create a safe space, set intentions and relax into our physicality.
We then have three sauna sessions, each exploring our embodied state through somatic enquiry, led by Will. The sessions will investigate different elements of our physicality and nervous system, encouraging embodied awareness and discovery of our body’s innate wisdom. Each session will include guidance, breathwork and silence, and is followed by cold plunge to cleanse, release and reset.
Following our somatic sessions, we will move to a 30 minute Gong Bath, led by Victoria, to clear, settle and ground the body, snuggly wrapped up under the stars of our infinite cosmos.
We will complete our evening with a cup of Cacao, gathered around an open fire, sharing a moment of quiet communal unity, before closing the session as we started with a brief ritual.
Places are strictly limited to 12. (The session is designed for individual private contemplation within a held shared space. You will not be required to speak, touch or be naked. The session is a chance to bare your soul to yourself, not your arse to everyone else.)
