For the Record: Talking Change and Future Hopes

Take part in For the Record at the Winter Warmer at Forest Gate Community Garden, 2.30pm - 4.30pm on Saturday 9 November. For the Record is collecting stories and messages for Royal Docks Originals 2025 festival, exploring the Royal Docks transformation. Join in with your own story and a message for the future as the project travels to neighbourhoods across Newham.

Your contributions will be shared with creatives and communities and inspire the Royal Docks Originals 2025 Festival.

In addition to taking part in the For the Record session, explore the beautiful community garden, listen to winter warming storytelling, enjoy refreshments, and get involved in other hygge activities. ‘Hygge’ is a term in Danish culture meaning creating a warm atmosphere and enjoying life's simple pleasures with others. So come along with a blanket or hot water bottle to keep snug and enjoy the hygge!
