Is there a charge?
- No, we never charge. The Masjid Silvertown event is run by volunteers for the community, not by a big business or corporation. The biggest cost of the event is the license for the grounds, along with marketing, materials, and preparation. Therefore, we kindly request attendees to make a small donation to help cover these costs so that we don't end up in debt and can continue to bring you this celebration every Eid, Insha Allah.

Why should I register?
Imagine inviting people to your home; you would want to know how many guests are arriving so you could serve and host them well. The Masjid Silvertown event is run entirely by volunteers who sacrifice their time to serve the community in seeking the pleasure of Allah. Registering online helps us know our expected numbers and how many people to cater for, ensuring the event runs safely. It also means we can notify you of any important announcements or changes.

Masjid Silvertown events are 100% volunteer-run, and your donations have sustained us over the years. This event is for the community, by the community, and we are proud that the Muslim community supports the revival of the Sunnah of Eid! Donations go towards costs such as prayer tarps, ground hire, toilets, generators, and security where needed.

Your donations are most welcome. Please use our bank details or scan the QR code to make payments online.

Lastly, purely for the sake of Allah's pleasure, please share this with others!
