Dock Tales Online Event
Uncover the stories surrounding the water at the Royal Docks and the people who use it. Join our Q&A and share your own anecdotes in this special, free online event.
Dock Tales, part of Join The Docks 2020 is a series of interviews with members of the community in the Royal Docks London who use the dock water for work, and pleasure. From the captain of a local Dragon Boat team, to a student who has undertaken lifeboat training, Dock Tales are their stories.
Throughout November, their anecdotes will appear on the Royal Docks website, and at the end of the month on November 30th you’ll have the opportunity to ask them questions, and share your own ‘Dock Tale’ in our live online event.
Was there something in their ‘Dock Tale’ that has intrigued you or, would you like to share your own reflections about this watery wonderland? We’d love to meet you. Join us for our free online public event.
The event will be hosted by Momtaz Begum-Hossain, a local journalist who is running the Dock Tales project.
