Celebrating Sonia Boyce

‘Celebrating Sonia Boyce’ will showcase the artwork created through a series of workshops with Newham residents inspired by the work of beloved local artist Sonia Boyce OBE RA, who began her creative journey in the borough.

The participants of the workshops explored their creativity through a range of mediums including drawing, print and textiles.

At this event, we hope to bring people together to meet other residents, irrespective of backgrounds and come together to celebrate Newham’s rich art and cultural heritage.

On the Friday and Saturday, the event will include creative workshops with Saturday’s workshop dedicated for families.
