After Dark Festival
This year’s UEL After Dark festival celebrates the Olympic and Paralympic year, as well as our very own Year of Science!
Join the University of East London at its Docklands campus to be inspired on this special winter evening. Dazzling, world-renowned artists will light up our skies, and a range of immersive activities will showcase the power of technology.
We’ll be welcoming students, staff, families and local businesses, providing the opportunity to illuminate, create and participate in a variety of artistic, scientific and movement-based activities, all free of charge.
The evening will feature a parade with giant puppets created by UEL students under the guidance of War Horse and Life of Pi puppet-maker Charlie Tymms, African dance and drumming performances and magical installations. A variety of fresh street food and drinks will also be available.
