The Royal Docks Team seeking partner to deliver a unique project in the heart of the Royal Docks

Last Friday, March 25th, the Royal Docks Team announced an exciting opportunity, to find a commercial partner to deliver an exciting operation from Compressor House

The Royal Docks Team has opened their application process to create a destination building in the heart of the royal docks.

Compressor House was originally a warehouse built in 1914 for cold storage of Royal Docks cargo, with a distinctive red brickwork and industrial interior. We are looking for partner(s) to take on a lease of this unique building to transform this historic site into a destination building within the Royal Docks.

Compressor House is located on the northern bank of the Royal Albert Dock, directly underneath Royal Albert station and next to Newham Council offices. Once operational, it will be a 10-minute walk from Custom House Crossrail station.

The Royal Docks Team are open to organisations from all sectors, of any size to apply for this project. We are open to all visions and interpretations of this opportunity. All we ask is it aligns with some broad but important priorities as described in the EOI document, particularly digital inclusion.

The application process will be facilitated by our Good Growth Fund Process, more information can be found here. The deadline for Expressions of Interest is Friday 22 April.
