Royal Docks an official Destination for the London Festival of Architecture in 2023

We’re delighted to announce that the Royal Docks area is an official Destination for the London Festival of Architecture in 2023!

#LFA2023 is a month-long celebration of architecture and city-making, taking place every June across London. Their mission is to open up discussions around architecture, test new ideas and uncover and promote new talent, drawing together anyone with an interest in architecture and physical spaces. The theme for 2023 is #InCommon – inviting people to come together to discuss how we can improve our city by thinking about what we have in common – and what we don’t.

We are delighted that the Royal Docks is, once again, a focal point for the London Festival of Architecture. The 2023 theme of ‘In Common’ resonates really powerfully with the Royal Docks, which has a proud history of community activism and collectivism, which endures today.

Being an LFA Destination will ensure the Royal Docks community can attend a wealth of events taking place on curated routes, celebrating and appreciating the architecture of our area. Local event organisers and groups can have a voice on the future of the Royal Docks not only as part of a London-wide Festival, but on a local scale.

LFA are now accepting submissions for events! Head to https://londonfestivalofarchitecture.org/ to find out more about the Festival and how you can submit your event.
