Calling all performers and entertainers in the Royal Docks and beyond!
Introducing The Docks Factor; a celebration of local talent, taking place as part of Royal Docks Originals 2025.
Proudly presented by the Dock Local Panel, this is your opportunity to take to the stage and showcase your skills. We’re looking for performers of every kind, ability and background from dancers to musicians, comedians to poets and everything in between. The Docks Factor will take place in the autumn as part of Royal Docks Originals 2025, our brand-new biennale festival.
You can be a solo act, duo or group. If you have a passion for performance, we want to hear from you.
Submit your act by the audition deadline - Monday, 26 May 2025 at 5pm.

Submissions Criteria
- Open to all Royal Docks and Newham residents
- Open to all ages. Under 16’s require parental/guardian consent in writing
- All abilities welcome (showcasing venue will be fully accessible)
- Acts must be suitable for indoors – unfortunately, we are unable to support acts using fire or aerial performance
- All submissions will undergo a risk assessment to comply with venue regulations
- Acts must be available to perform during the festival dates from 20th September to 5th October - exact date to be confirmed
- We cannot accept any submissions after the deadline on 26 May 2025
- Selected acts will be contacted in June 2025
The Dock Local Panel is a voluntary group of residents, formed in 2020 to help shape community and cultural programming in the Royal Docks. The panel currently includes six members, all drawn from the Creative Connectors resident network. Royal Docks Originals 2025 will mark the Dock Local Panel’s final event.

Royal Docks Originals 2025
The Royal Docks is evolving into a major creative and cultural hub driven by inclusivity, sustainability, and innovation. Royal Docks Originals 2025 is a new biennial festival bringing together local people, creatives and businesses to celebrate the area’s heritage, people and places. Taking place from late September to October 2025 and responding to the Royal Docks’ stunning land and waterscape, the festival will present world-class arts, spectacular new installations, and premier performances. Centred on the theme of transformation, the programme will reflect the area's evolution and its pivotal role in London's global story.
